The Seeds of Vandana Shiva + Afternoon Tea & Discussion

The Little Green Cinema is back in 2024! They are starting their film season with this inspiring multi award winning film.

How did the willful daughter of a Himalayan forest guard become Monsanto’s worst nightmare? The Seeds of Vandana Shiva tells the remarkable life story of Gandhian eco-activist Dr. Vandana Shiva, how she stood up to the corporate Goliaths of industrial agriculture, rose to prominence in the food justice movement, and inspired an international crusade for change.

New to our local eco cinema? Here you will find a warm welcome with free tea, coffee and cake to start the afternoon. You will then settle comfortably back to watch the film. With a break after the film to refresh your drink or retry another superb cake we join together again to discuss our individual reactions to the film and discuss actions that may arise that we can possibly take forward to enable a better world for all.

“‘The Little Green Cinema’ offers a unique environmental education in the most enjoyable way, in the company of the most amazing people. Highly recommended” (Chasing Coral 2023)
