The Muppet Christmas Carol

Presented by Fabrica
An entertaining and impactful afternoon film event in a relaxed and unique setting.

This event is a special fundraiser in which the money raised goes to supporting Fabrica as a charity.
This Christmas we will be celebrating with a screening of The Muppets Christmas Carol, the comedy-musical Muppet adaptation of the classic Dickensian novella.

The Muppets star in this heartwarming tale with Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit and Gonzo as Charles Dickens – alongside Michael Caine as ‘Mr Humbug’ Ebenezer Scrooge. The story follows Scrooge, a miserly and bitter old man with no thought for anyone but himself. On Christmas Eve he is visited by three ghosts – the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come – who each show him the error of his ways.

“Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are joined by Caine as a hilarious Scrooge in this irresistibly sweet musical adaptation of Dickens’ festive tale” Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

This event is raising funds for Fabrica’s charitable activity: by attending this event your support will be providing creative activities that support learning and increase wellbeing particularly for people who face barriers to participating or find it hard to travel, giving artists the financial and creative support to make extraordinary new work and keeping our historic Grade II listed building open for everyone to enjoy through inspiring art experiences.
