Rema Rema – What You Could Not Visualise + Q&A

What You Could Not Visualise is a documentary about the post-punk band Rema-Rema.

They were a weird yet influential group who existed for 10 months in the late 70s, and were the first release on the 4AD record label. This film covers their story and legacy, with exclusive interviews with Ivo Watts-Russell, Stephen Mallinder (Cabaret Voltaire), Steve Albini (Big Black), John Robb (The Membranes), Bruce Pavitt (SubPop), Jim Thirlwell (Foetus), Gudrun Gut and Bettina Köster (Malaria!), and Rema-Rema themselves.

The screening is followed by a panel chat hosted by journalist Jak Hutchcraft, with director Marco Porsia, Stephen Mallinder from Cabaret Voltaire, and Rema-Rema drummer Dorothy Max Prior.
