Britain on Film: Protest!

Presented by The Keep Archives

This new collection of films from the British Film Institute archives explores the nature and effects of public activism and protest in 20th century Britain. Individual film clips range from Suffragettes to anti-fascist demonstrators, campaigners for gay rights to peace protestors.

This screening will take place during this year’s Heritage Open Day weekend, and will be accompanied by a display of relevant original material from The Keep’s archives.
