BFI FILM ACADEMY: Screen Shot Film Industry Event + Academy launch

Delivered by Fabrica in partnership with Screen Shot on behalf of Film Hub South East, supported with National Lottery funding.

BFI Film Academy offers opportunities for ambitious 16-25 year olds, anywhere in the UK, to get to know more about film and how to forge a career in the screen industries.

Join us to launch our BFI Academy Programme with this special film industry and networking event.

The Screen Shot network is gathering to provide an opportunity for attendees to talk to and learn from some of our varied members.

If you are interested in unique independent film programming, joining a Young Film Programmer group, and learning about a diverse selection of local film festivals and short film programmes then this is the event for you.

We will be joined by some members of the network who will give their insight and expertise through talks and table networking. Venues, programmers and festivals you will meet at the event include White Wall Cinema, The Old Market Film Club, Cinecity, Fabrica, Short Circuit, Cinelogue, Brighton Animation Film Festival, Oska Bright and YFP programmers Kino Collective (Depot) and Fresh Perspectives (Fabrica).

Attendees will also be able to hear more about the BFI Academy events happening at Fabrica and Screenshot, the network and listings site of alternative and independent film events taking place in Brighton and the surrounding area.
