Brighton Rocks International Film Festival

Brighton Rocks is home to films that fit with the City of Brighton’s out-there creative universe. Brighton is a mecca for artists from all walks of life. It is also a state of mind, an attitude, a spirit – one that dares to be itself. Are you ready to see if your film belongs here?

The 7th Brighton Rocks International Film Festival will take place 25 – 30 June 2024. Screenings will be held at our new festival hub  Manchester Street Arts Club (previously Latest Music Bar) & Dukes at Komedia.

All sessions will be followed by filmmaker Q&A’s and we invite everyone to take advantage of our exclusive networking hub which will be running throughout the festival at Manchester Street.

This year’s festival launches on Tuesday with films shot in Brighton. Wednesday showcases students with partners BIMM Screen & Film School, University of Brighton and JQS Learning. Thursday showcases an array of documentaries exploring contemporary issues. The weekend includes 17 programmes – comedy, eco, experimental, horror, drama and LGBTQIA+. Screenings additionally take place at Dukes at Komedia on Sunday 30 June, with the brand new ‘Women Rock’ session that proudly presents films made by, for and about women. Followed by our ‘Best of BRIFF’. The festival concludes with our exciting 2024 Brighton Rocks Awards Ceremony at 6pm.
